This collage is one of my early works, where I experimented with blending different sources and styles. I combined a Wikipedia photo of a street in Havana with a Renaissance painting of a couple. I wanted to create a contrast between the historical and the contemporary and to show how Cubans can find joy and love in any situation. The collage is a tribute to their resilience and spirit.
