Fábula Plástica is a digital collage that I created with some photos from my trip to Cuba in 2019. I wanted to capture the contrast between the natural beauty of the island and the environmental degradation caused by the ruling class and the tourism industry. This piece is part of a series of digital collages that explore the themes of consumerism and environmental justice in Cuba.
Some of the images I used for the collage. I took the two photos in my grandfather's town of Guanabo, a beautiful but destroyed place right outside Havana.
