This digital collage is a homage to Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest basketball players and scorers of all time and a five-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers . I was deeply moved by his tragic death in a helicopter crash in 2020 , and I wanted to express my admiration and respect for his legacy through my art. I used a photo of the wax museum of Kobe in his Lakers jersey, defending the ball with skill and elegance, a public domain stained glass art of two angels and my own textures to create this piece, representing the urban culture and the heavenly realm. I wanted to capture his spirit and passion for the game, as well as his influence on millions of fans around the world.
